Our spiced gingerbread is baked at the Milimári Sütiműhely bakery from carefully selected ingredients – made with, among other things, white rye flour, local farmers' blossom honey and cane sugar.

What is inside the GALAMBOM box?

A handmade gingerbread and a hidden message. The gingerbread is inspired by a monastery recipe and made with, among other things, white rye flour, local farmers' blossom honey and cane sugar. The real surprise of the box is the part of the satin ribbon hidden inside it: pull the ribbon out, and a thought from a Christian saint is revealed. The message on the ribbon is in English.

When will pre-ordered products be shipped?

GALAMBOM ships from early November 2026. The Advent package will be dispatched in November 2026, so that it reaches every customer in time for the first Sunday of Advent, 29 November. Deliveries to Austria and Germany usually arrive 2–4 working days after dispatch. The White placemat with table blessing is coming soon – we will announce it here as soon as it can be ordered.

How can I pay?

Currently by bank transfer in advance. Card payment is being introduced; as soon as it is available, it will appear at checkout. We do not offer cash on delivery.

How much does shipping cost?

Within Hungary: to a parcel locker €3.33, free for orders over €42.00; home delivery €7.81, free over €84.00. To Austria and Germany we deliver by GLS for €22.37 per order, or €36.37 if the order includes the Advent package, with no free-shipping threshold; delivery usually takes 2–4 working days after dispatch.

Which allergens does the gingerbread contain?

GALAMBOM gingerbread contains gluten (rye), milk (butter) and eggs. It is made under a HACCP system at the Milimári Sütiműhely bakery in Budakeszi.

How long does the gingerbread keep?

Stored in a cool, dry place, it keeps its quality for one year from the date of production.

Can we order it as a corporate gift with our own message?

Yes. For larger quantities, by individual agreement, we print your message on the accompanying card. The price per box goes down as the quantity goes up, and a ready-to-place counter display holding twenty-four boxes is also available on request. For a quote: info@spicahome.com.

Where are the products made, and by whom?

Every piece is made in a Hungarian workshop. The gingerbread is baked by hand at the Milimári Sütiműhely bakery in Budakeszi, the boxes are die-cut and gold-foil embossed by a Hungarian printing house, and the satin ribbons are woven and printed by a label maker in Budapest.

Can GALAMBOM be used as a Christmas tree decoration?

Yes. The gingerbread can be hung on the tree, so the twenty-four boxes of the Advent package double as an Advent decoration: from the first of December until Christmas Eve, one more gingerbread goes on the tree each day.
