Description
Handmade gingerbread inspired by a monastery recipe, made with, among other things, white rye flour, local farmers’ blossom honey and cane sugar. The real surprise of the box is the part of the satin ribbon hidden inside: pull the ribbon and the thought of a Christian saint appears – the “what’s inside the box?” moment. So the gift does not end with the gingerbread – the biscuit is eaten, the message stays. The message on the ribbon is in English.
The gingerbread is made by hand at the Milimári Sütiműhely bakery in Budakeszi from carefully selected ingredients. The box is die-cut and gold-foil embossed by a Hungarian printer, and the satin ribbon is woven and printed by a label maker in Budapest.
